The Western Washington Pro Chapter of SPJ is reprising its successful continuing education series from last fall teaching journalists new skills in producing content for the web and using the web to aid in reporting. Classes held most Mondays, Oct. 15 to Dec. 10.

The Dec. 8-9 workshop will emphasize money in local and state elections on the horizon, including the impact of 527 organizations at those levels. There is also an optional computer-assisted reporting session on Sunday morning. This hands-on, computer-assisted reporting class will build data analysis skills for reporters covering money in politics. All sessions will be held at The Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
