Help Tomorrow's Journalists - Make a Donation to our 2007 Silent Auction and Scholarship Fund

We need you to make the second annual silent auction for the chapter's scholarship fund better than ever.

Tomorrow's journalists need the experience - not the financial burden - of a college education to enter today's market. For the first time in 10 years, the SPJ Western Washington Pro Chapter is increasing the amount of scholarship money it awards. But to give more, we need to work harder.

The second annual silent auction will occur during cocktail hour at the 2007 SPJ Awards banquet on June 2, 2007. Mark your calendar and bring your checkbook.

Please donate an item or an experience for the silent auction. It could be a cheap thrill like a Brenda Starr poster or one-of-a-kind experience like lunch with a local celebrity. David Horsey perhaps? (We're working on it.)

And if Santa doesn't bring you the right thing this year, consider re-gifting it with us. We won't tell.
