The Western Washington Pro Chapter of SPJ is happy to announce that it will host its annual awards banquet at the Diamond Club inside Safeco Field. Please mark your calendars for the evening of Saturday, May 21. This is a new venue for the chapter's annual awards banquet. But it will still have all the things you love: Recognition for our Northwest Excellence in Journalism contest winners, a silent auction to benefit student scholarships, food, drinks, plenty of time to socialize, an entertaining program and a lot of fun. Did we mention there will be a bar?
