13 Nov Students get career tips from pros at SPJ Speed Date

Nearly 20 journalism students on Wednesday toured The Seattle Times and met with local professionals for career advice during SPJ Speed Date, co-hosted by the Western Washington Pro and University of Washington student SPJ chapters.
Don Shelton, sports editor for The Seattle Times, showed students around the newsroom before a speed-dating-style networking event with mentors who shared career development tips.
