Think about the last piece of copy you wrote: How long did it take between the time you started and the time it left your desk?

Writing good copy is hard, and writing good, accurate copy is even harder. When you throw a tight deadline into the mix, things just get insane. But for a lot of us communications professionals, that’s the world we live in every day.

It’s with that in mind that the SPJ Western Washington Pro Chapter is happy to bring you its latest event on Monday, February 24: Writing Fast and Well. Associated Press writer Chris Grygiel will join us for a two-hour session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Seattle Times Company and share some of his secrets to unlocking that rare trifecta of writing ability—good, fast and accurate.
