Joanne Silberner and Eli Sanders

Joanne Silberner and Eli Sanders

Listen in as two top local journalists interview each other on the craft of storytelling. Eli Sanders, a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, and Joanne Silberner, an NPR veteran, will sit down for a one-on-one conversation at 7 p.m. on March 10 at The Seattle Times.

Both have done extensive work on the delicate subject of mental health. Sanders’ new book, While the City Slept, is a gripping account of one man’s path towards murder and how the health care system failed him. Silberner has done extensive coverage on global mental health and is currently working on a series on suicide prevention. Both journalists will sit down for a candid conversation with each other about their work and how they build great stories. No emcee. No cheesy questions. Just two pros talking shop.

Tickets are $10, free for SPJ members.
