Come join area journos and journo supporters as the SPJ Western Washington Pro Chapter kicks off its new year with the fall edition of Headlines ‘n Deadlines bar trivia at Hilliard’s in Ballard on Oct. 27.
Come with a team of no more than six people or just arrive and we’ll place you on a team. Enjoy great $5 pints of the in-house beer and amazing food from various vendors. Teams will be presented with five rounds of questions about current events, journalists, Seattle news, and Seattle news organizations. The top three teams will go home with awesome prizes. We’ll also be giving away door prizes.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the SPJ Western Washington scholarship fund, which helps deserving journalism students in our area who want to make a difference in our industry.
