12 Jan LA Times makes an online ad revenue model work
Last Friday was a big day in the Seattle news world, with the announcement that Hearst is putting the beloved Seattle P-I up for sale. If it doesn’t sell after 60 days, Hearst said it will either create an online-only model or close the veteran newspaper forever. Of course, we’d all love to see a buyer swoop down from the heavens to save the P-I, but if that can’t happen, perhaps an online-only version is a viable alternative.
In the wake of this news, Michelle Nicolosi from the P-I posted a link to this story on Facebook:Â How the LA Times is Making Online Ad Revenue Work.
