When and where: Saturday, May 21. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the program begins at 7 pm sharp. The banquet will be inside the Diamond Club at Safeco Field. Look for the signs directing you to the entrance. We will eat and socialize inside the Diamond Club and go out to the stands for the awards ceremony. Show up early to bid on silent auction items, eat and socialize before the awards program starts.

Parking: You can park on the street and pay the city rate or you can park at Safeco’s garage and pay $10.

Attire: We want this to be comfortable and sociable so you can wear casual or business dress. Bring a sweater as it might get chilly outside.

Food: We will have a buffet that will feature salad, marinated vegetable salad, grilled salmon, grilled skirt steak, scallop potatoes, roasted seasonable vegetables, lemon mousse cake & warm apple cobbler and coffee and tea.

Drinks: There will be two, full cash bars inside the Diamond Club. You can bring beer and wine into the stands for the awards ceremony.

Silent auction: As always we will offer a silent auction and raffle to benefit the chapters student scholarship program. Credit cards and checks will be accepted so please come ready to bid! We are even still accepting donations of items for the auction, if you have something to share please click here by Friday, May 13.

Entertainment: We are fully embracing the banquet’s new venue this year and are proud to announce that we have two great emcees from the sports journalism world. Jerry Brewer of the Seattle Times and Jen Mueller of ROOT Sports will provide the entertainment.

Coolness factor: All award winners will have their names posted on the big board in center field when their categories are announced so bring your cameras and be ready to shoot.
