09 Oct Speed-meet PRSA at Seattle Art Museum Nov. 3 – and get free SAM ticket!
SPJ is partnering with the Puget Sound Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America to host “PR and Journalists: How to engage via email, phone and social media,” a networking event for working professionals on Thursday Nov. 3 at the Seattle Art Museum.
The event, which will follow a “speed-dating” format that allows journalist to meet small, rotating groups of public relations professionals, will start at 5:30 pm and will run to 7 pm. There will be a refreshments served, and attendees will receive free tickets to view the museum that evening after the program.
PRSA expects that most of its members who attend will come from the Seattle area and work for agencies, government and corporate clients. Journalists who want to attend do not have to be SPJ members, and there is no cost to attend the event. But you must register beforehand as space is limited to about 15 journalists.
